Most winery visits in Bordeaux are strictly by appointment. We try to go to the best wineries. If you are requesting specific wineries, it may take longer to confirm availability.
Meet with your guide and enjoy the scenery and the fine wines of Bordeaux! Pay the fees of your guide/driver/chateaux/restaurant on the day of your tour.
Private tours can be organized for any date of the week between April and October. Tours are running between November to March, but some chateaux may be closed on the weekends and between Christmas and the New Year's Day. There is limited availability of chateaux visits during the last week of April due to En Primeurs.
Kids can usually attend the chateaux tours for free. Minimum drinking age is 18 years old. Some chateaux offer special visits for kids.
Some wineries require advance notice to book, it is never too early to request visits at famous chateaux. It is easier to visit top names off-season.
Small amount of walking is involved. You can expect uneven surfaces and multiple stairs.
