Each winery tour lasts about 1 to 1.5 hours. Typically, it includes a guided stroll through vineyard, a tour of the cellars followed by a tasting of 2-3 wines.
Winery visits can be private or public. Private tours give you more attention of the guide or owner and more time to ask questions. As well, you can be flexible with various tasting options, such as include famous vintages, or wine and food pairing in your tasting.
Please note that winery visits and tastings are own expense and are paid per person directly to the chateaux. Typical winery fees are 10 to 30 euros per person per chateau. Private tours can be slightly more expensive.
Most wineries sell wines at their boutiques and many would ship wines to your country. We could also make a stop at a local wine shop. Please let us know if you prefer private visits or want to upgrade your tasting.
